Hey, Mary. The project (new floor) continues apace. All that’s left to worry about is reassembling the house. Glad you like “Right, said Fred.” It’s cockney, of course, and may not be familiar (or understandable, for that matter) to many Americans, hence I’ve added the lyrics. It’s well-known in Australia. My friend, Lynne, and I were giggling about the craziness of getting this floor laid and she started singing the song. I knew it, so decided it would be perfect for the blog post. She googled it, and Bob’s your Uncle! Cute animation is a bonus! MM

I’m sorry this project has been such a headache, but I’m glad you have a sense of humor about it! And where in the world did you find that video? So true, so painfully, painfully true. I shall make it the theme song of all future home improvement projects…probably the primary reason I keep putting off our home improvement projects.
