Fairy Bread

A few of you seem to think I was making up the whole Frog in a Pond recipe thing.   Well, it was all true.  Just google frog in a pond recipe and see for yourself.  It is a legitimate dish–mostly for kids birthday parties and kids pub menus–and those were real recipes.  It made me giggle to think there were actual recipes, published in magazines and online, for what is essentially:  Make Jello; put chocolate frogs in it.  Okay, so I have a weird sense of humor.  While you’re at it, you could google Fairy Bread as well.  Another ‘must’ for Aussie kids’ birthday parties.  It consists of sliced white bread, spread with butter (or marg) and sprinkled with hundreds-and-thousands.   Trust me.                 MM
